Lidl stores traditionally have a large number of German-speaking customers. These stores are characterized by:

  • exclusive assortment, many products sold in Lidl are not available in other stores;
  • many goods made in Germany.

Lidl stores didn't offer discount cards. But recently, a special mobile app called "Lidl Plus" was released. It's installed on your phone, and at the checkout, you show your phone number instead of a discount card, offering a discount. The advertising brochure promises discounts of up to €5 per week. However, this app currently fails to install on your phone and returns an error message.

Let me remind you that in Bulgaria it is easy to navigate the local currency, just divide price in leva by two and you get the price in euros.
