According to local hoteliers, there are almost no available rooms left, and the flow of tourists has not decreased even after the end of the official high season.

Concerts and festivals for thousands of tourists

This evening, Stefan Vldobrev and the band "Obichaite zapodozreni" will host a free concert in Primorsko's central square. Their performance will be a spectacular finale to the large-scale maritime music festival. Prim Fest, which started back in June.

Besides music, the city also has a vibrant sports scene:

  • The Lionheart triathlon has started, with distances of 3 km swimming, 21 km running and 96 km cycling;

  • The 22nd Euro Folklore Festival is taking place with the support of UNESCO;

  • The Bulgarian underwater fishing championship is being prepared.

Primorsko is the leader in sea cleanliness in Europe

The main reason for the record-breaking interest in the resort is its uniquely clean sea. According to a report by the European Environment Agency, the water off the coast of Primorsko is recognized as the cleanest in Europe with an indicator of transparency and purity in 99,4%.

Thousands of tourists post photos of the crystal-clear water on social media, which has become a fashion trend and the resort's best advertisement.

Why is the sea in Primorsko so clean?

Environmentalists note that the record-breaking water purity is explained by several factors:

  • the absence of industrial enterprises and cargo shipping in the region;

  • construction of modern treatment facilities;

  • features of the Black Sea currents, which contribute to the natural renewal and self-purification of water.
